I picked up some Angelus paint to mess around with an old pair of sneakers, and I was expecting it to be one of those projects where the paint stays sticky for way too long or just... never really feels done.

But it dried surprisingly fast between coats. I still gave it a little extra time because I didn’t want to mess anything up, but it was already feeling dry way sooner than I expected, which was nice.

Made the whole thing way less of a hassle. I wasn’t stuck waiting around all day, and the shoes came out better than I thought they would, so yeah... happy with it.

I used this Angelus dye on an old pair of faded black boots it came out Better than I expected. I did two light coats and it covered really well without any weird Patchy spots. The color dried even and has held up after wearing the boots a few times. Shipping was Totally fine too, so no complaints from me.

Used it on my old sneakers and the finish came out really smooth. Not too shiny, which I liked. Happy with how they look now

The coverage was way better than I expected, like I didn’t have to keep going over the same spots forever. Also, the color still looked good after wearing them a few times, which was the part I wasn’t sure about. Anyway, happy with it overall

I finally found the Angelus paint colors I was looking for, and luckily they were all in stock. Checkout was easy too, so that part was fine. I just wish it hadn’t taken so much effort to track everything down in the first place

The paint itself worked fine, so no real complaints there, but the bottle was smaller than I was expecting when it showed up. I guess I thought it would last a little longer for the price. It did cover my shoes okay, but I ended up using more than I figured I would. It’s not bad, I’d just probably get the bigger size next time.

The color was seriously spot on!!! It looked just like I hoped it would, maybe even better in person!! Super happy with it!!!

The prices feel high for what you actually get. I don’t mind paying more if it feels worth it, but this just didn’t. Plus, it felt like I had to put in more effort than expected just to get a decent experience, which made it even more frustrating.

I grabbed a few Angelus paints thinking they’d have solid coverage, but yeah… some of the colors were basically doing a light interpretive dance over the surface instead of actually covering it. I ended up needing way more coats than I expected, especially anywhere darker was showing through.

The paint dried fine, so at least there’s that thrilling victory, but the opacity just wasn’t cutting it for my project. Maybe it works better on different materials or colors, but for what I was doing, it turned into a lot more work than I signed up for.
